Theresa Graziano- Artistic Director- received extensive training in dance at a young age in the Chicago area. She received a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Dance from the Barat Conservatory of Dance and has completed her Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment through Walden University. During her schooling at Barat, she studied under Eileen Cropley, Rory Foster, Harriet Ross, Julie Cartier, Linda Spriggs and many other well-known dance professionals. Mrs. Graziano performed with the Barat Repertory Dance Company where she danced the part of Fanny Cerrito in the ballet Pas de Quatreand performed in several famous modern dance works such as Paul Taylor's Esplanade and Aureole. She began teaching and choreographing as a student teacher and guest artist at several high schools in the Chicago and Southwestern Michigan areas. In 1999, Theresa worked with Eileen Cropley to build a dance program at the Citadel Dance Center in Benton Harbor.She worked as Associate Director of the Citadel from 1999 through Winter 2004, and currently offers summer intensives in modern dance at the studio. During 2008 and 2009, Theresa was Choreographer Director for the high school musicals Guys and Dolls and Beauty and the Beast at Lakeshore High School. As a choreographer, Mrs. Graziano's work has been recognized as a finalist in an International Choreography Competitive Event. As a state-certified dance teacher, her goal is to educate, inspire, and prepare young dancers for future careers.
